Rogue Ales Logo

The Rogue Public House in Eugene, Oregon opened in 2004 and is one of the many Rogue brewpub locations along the west coast, and is known as the Track Town Brewery. The Rogue Public House in Eugene keeps to the dive bar feel that you usually find at Rogue, and is a large location with plenty of indoor seating and a large bar in the back, as well as outdoor seating.

UPDATE: This Rogue location has since shut down.

Rogue Ales is a brewery that does not seem to be pushing for world domination and wanting to get their beers on tap at every bar in the world. Instead they tend to have a rabid cult following, similar to that of San Diego’s Stone Brewing Company, known as the Rogue Nation. Rogue feeds their following with a large variety of fairly unique beers, with equally unique names, and are usually available in larger 24oz bottles eye catching labels. At any given time you can find between 20-30 different beers in bottles or on tap at the Rogue Public Houses.

Rogue’s most well known beers are Dead Guy Ale, Yellow Snow IPA, MoM Hefewiesen, and the Juniper Pale Ale. They also have their Rogue Farms series of beers that is made from ingredients grown on their own organic farms, as well as their VooDoo Doughnuts partnership beers that include Maple Bacon Ale and Chocolate, Peanut Butter, & Banana Ale. All of their beers are regularly rotated through the Rogue Public House in Eugene.

The menu at the Eugene Rogue Public House is kind of all over the place, it is largely dominated by sandwiches and burgers, with an abundance of items made with duck, which is weird considering that Eugene is the home of the University of Oregon Ducks. Most of the items on their menu are made using Rogue’s own beer as well as spirits from the Rogue Distillery.

Also, be sure to ask about the bathroom tours.
