Baja Brewing Company

Baja Brewing Company’s original location is in the arts district in San Jose del Cabo, which is one of the two towns at the southern tip of Baja California in Mexico. This location is the home of the first craft brewery in Baja. Compared to Baja Brewing’s other locations in neighboring Cabo San Lucas, this location is more low-key and has a closer vibe to those of the breweries north of the border. In addition to pouring their signature beers such as their Blonde Ale, they serve a full menu of food, including wood-fired pizzas. Baja Brewing is known for their ales, such as their Blonde and Pale Ales, as well as great seasonal brews beers including their Habanero Pale Ale.

Baja Brewing Company was founded by brewers from Colorado that visited Cabo in and fell in love with the area, so they decided to stay and in 2007 start the first brewery in Baja. In 2009, they expanded to open a rooftop taproom in neighboring Cabo San Lucus, and then in 2015 another in Cabo’s marina. Suffering a setback after Hurricane Odile, this location closed for brief time, and reopened in 2015.
